We kick off #GenevaWatchDays with an intimate chat with De Bethune CEO Pierre Jacques. Pierre and Wei discussed the significance and evolution of the DB25 perpetual calendar, and its new 40mm titanium case.
De Bethune is loved for its distinctive design elements, like its flame blued finishes, timepieces that incorporate shock absorbers not just on the balance wheel but along the bridge as well, its three-dimensional moonphase displays, and the lightest tourbillon cage in the world that weighs just 1.6g. The brand recently revealed a new meteorite dial iteration of the De Bethune DB25, which was first released in 2018 and won the GPHG chronometry prize.
De Bethune will also be launching a film at #GWD22 about the brand, watchmaker Denis Flageollet, and manufacture, so stay tuned.
