From a distance, you can already tell from its inclined balance and convex case that it’s a Greubel Forsey. In fact, it’s the brand new Greubel Forsey GMT Balancier Convexe.
Jeremiah had the pleasure of experiencing this 43.5mm complication in person this morning. He walks us through how, in true Greubel Forsey fashion, every aspect of this watch is hand-finished in a medley of mutually complementary styles.
He notes that the brand has cheekily swapped out the city of Paris on the 24-time zone ring on the caseback, and replaced it with the brand’s hometown of La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Available with an integrated rubber strap or titanium bracelet, this timepiece will only see 22 examples of it made annually from 2022 to 2024.
If you’d like to discover the Greubel Forsey GMT Balancier Convexe in vivid detail, read Jeremiah’s article on it here.
