That’s the sailcloth; now, how about the “Loop-Less” part of it? This strap is designed to be used with deployants — the long tail of the strap sits under the buckle and doesn’t need an extra keeper loop to hold it in place. It’s a smart design that results in a smooth and very sleek profile. Artem has offered this style of strap for a while now, and they’re constantly improving it based on wearer feedback — small things like the placing of the holes to ensure as good a fit as possible for as many wrists as possible, and tweaking the overall length of the strap. Not only does this make for a better strap, but it greatly speaks to how seriously Artem takes the quality of their offering.
Of course, while the Loop-Less has been around for a minute, the blue is completely new. It’s offered in a range of widths, from 19mm all the way up to 22mm. The strap is priced at USD 133, and can be fitted with quick-release bars or regular spring bars for a few dollars more. (Side note: It’s 2022, do yourself a favor and go for the quick-release — you’ll never look back.) Artem also offers a range of deployants to go with them, including one specifically made for the Loop-Less. Finally, you can get the strap with tonally matched stitching or a contrasting white stitch.
