This high flyer is the perfect match for Omega’s latest take on the Seamaster Aqua Terra, a 41mm stainless steel number in blue and yellow, to match the Swedish uniform that Mondo will be wearing in Paris. In recent years, Omega has pulled back on the overt Olympic references on its special edition watches — here, the details are all quite nuanced. The Seamaster name and quarter minute markers are in yellow, matched by the stitch on the integrated rubber strap. The most notable nod to Mondo, though, is the second hand, which isn’t tapered like a typical Aqua Terra hand. Instead, it’s pole-shaped, with the SuperLumiNova tip representing the vaulter’s grip tape.
