Eleonor sits down with Jean Arnault, Marketing and Development Director for Louis Vuitton Watches, to talk about his much anticipated initiative to discover the next generation of independent watchmakers: The Louis Vuitton Watch Prize. The Louis Vuitton Watch Prize aims to raise the profile of independent watchmakers around the world that are creating watches in a traditional, artisanal manner and give them an outsized platform to showcase their work. An independent committee of 50 industry experts will be involved in selecting a deserving winner who will be announced in January 2024, and we hear from five of them on their thoughts on this initiative.
